Monday was the celebration of 100 days of school. There were signs all over the school about how we are all 100 days smarter. In my classroom, there was a full day of centers.
I paid attention to the energy of the kids throughout the day. The center time went well and the rotations were good. There were no issues with anyone missing a center which I have encountered before.
An activity my own kids love is stacking the plastic cups. I had 100 of them for the kids to stack as tall as they could. It was a huge hit.

There was also painting with cotton swabs, hat making, a 100 day book, practicing writing 100, and making sets of 10 unifex cubes. There was even a special snack.
Overall, it was a great day.
Things went back to normal on Tuesday. I was able to pull pairs of students to do cut up sentences and writing. It was another great day in kindergarten!
